Now in its third year, Shelter NI’s Christmas Quiz Night is back and more festive than ever! This year, we're delighted to welcome supporters to our new venue, The Harp & Fiddle, Strabane, for an evening of quiz fun, food, live music, fundraising and community spirit.
Taking place on Friday 11 December 2026, this popular event brings together friends, families, colleagues and local businesses to enjoy a great night out while raising vital funds for causes that make a real difference in the Strabane community.
Supporting Local People Through GABLE and Helping Hands
Every ticket purchased helps support our local GABLE Project, which assists older and disabled residents across the Derry and Strabane Council Area area to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes. Funds raised will also support our practical Helping Hands service, providing direct assistance to people who need it most.
By taking part, you're helping ensure that vulnerable members of our community can access the support they need to remain connected, safe and independent.
Supporting Homelessness Awareness Week 2026
This event is part of a wide range of events for Homelessness Awareness Week 2026, and this year's theme campaign is "Health, Home, Hope."
The theme highlights the strong connection between homelessness and health, recognising that a safe and secure home is fundamental to wellbeing. A stable home provides the foundation from which people can recover, rebuild their lives and move forward with hope for the future. Through this event, we're not only raising funds but also helping to shine a light on the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity across Northern Ireland.

How to Register
1 - Team Captain: Register first, create your team, and give it a fun name!
2 - Team Members: Once your captain has registered, sign up individually — make sure you select the correct team name during registration.
3 - Payment: Each person makes their own payment, and we’ll take care of the rest!
